All my life growing up when I was made to go to church, the pastor always teaches that the Bible says you are suspose to tithe 10% of your income and that's just plain wrong. The verses they always use don't support that kind of teaching. Some pastors would even go so far as to tell people that if they can't afford to give, give anyway because God will give back to you. Meanwhile those same people get heavily in debt. I'm happy to pull up some of the verses they use if you'd like, but at the moment I'm still learning and configuring this blog seeing as how it's brand spanking new.
